How to Measure Your Boat for a Cover

1. Finding the Centerline Length - Measure from the tip of the bow to the center of the stern. If you have any extensions (swim deck, platforms, trolling motors, etc.), add their length to the centerline dimension if you want these extensions covered.

2. Finding the Beam Width - Measure the widest point of your boat. For this measurement be sure to include the rub-rail.

3. Most covers will fit boats with a beam and center-line measurement plus or minus 6 inches.

4. Add 1 foot to the centerline length if your boat has rails exceeding 6 inches in height. Add one foot to the centerline length for trolling motor.

The most important pieces of information to know are the following five items:

1. Length and Width

2. Manufacturer

3. Model

4. Approximate year of manufacture

5. Short Description of your boat (Tri-Hull or V-Hull, Fish or Ski, Pontoon, etc.)
